These grow bags have been the best garden purchase! I've struggled to grow things, but this year I REALLY wanted to get a garden going. We did 4 garden beds and decided to add grow bags just to try a little bit of everything. HOLY COW THESE BAGS ARE WORTH THEIR WEIGHT IN GOLD. We have 8 tomato plants each in their own grow bag and they are producing SO MUCH that I'm not sure what I'm going to do with all the tomatoes! We also grew potatoes and they are flourishing. I plan to add more grow bags next year because the grow bag plants are doing so much better than my garden bed plants! I highly recommend giving these bags a try. We also had a late frost earlier in the season and it was so nice to be able to easily save my plants by moving them to the garage for the night then back out to the yard once the fear of frost past. The bags were super sturdy despite moving them around and we had zero issues overall with mold or anything else. After 8 years my raised bed garden frames had rotted to the point they had to be dismantled. Tried a typical garden in the ground but we have such poor rocky soil it was pitiful. Lumber prices are through the roof and galvanized tubs are too expensive for how much I grow. Knowing Im not getting any younger and my fam doesn't enjoy gardening, I needed to be able to complete rebuilding my garden myself. These are perfect!! I can fill them easily, move them around if needed, and easily adjust the soil for the plants Im growing. Later if I need them higher off the ground Ill just build a little table for them. For the plants that dont need all the soil the depth of these allow for I can easily fold them down. These are a total game changer. It will be so easy this winter to bring them into the greenhouse! Im planning on starting my seeds in these so all I have to do is move them back to their spot outside in the spring. Ordering more today.I have bought multiple sizes for different needs and love these bags. I have been gardening for over 30 years and went from in ground to raised beds but now I'm tired of weeding as where I live nothing stops the grass from popping up. I dismantled my raised beds which were constructed of cinder blocks, laid the blocks on thier side placed the bags on them and how I have a whole new raised bed garden with these bags. As for many reviews I have read discrediting them for not being true to size I have to say they must be new to gardening or they would know that agricultural measurements are far different than other measurements, so read the recommendations for planting in these bags for the correct size. Would and have recommended these bags and plan to buy more.Used these grow bags for my tomato garden. I planted 6 seeds, but I didn’t know each one would grow into one plant. Found these bags to be affordable and easy to store. I set the bags up in my patio, and transplanted the 6 seedlings. They thrived in these bags. It was just the right size.Bought these to do some late summer and early fall plants (potatoes, zucchini and lettuce). The potatoes took off and are on track to be harvested at least a couple of weeks ahead of time. The other things I planted late are also ahead of time. I personally think the color (black) had something to do with it. It holds heat a little better but still draines well. Sorry I can't be more specific, justy experience. Why can’t local garden centers carry such cool items? Easy move inside and out. They came with MARKERS for plant ID added bonus and one cannot beat the price!I like these how bags for tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers and okra. Should last a few years.Perfect for bringinggarden plants in for the Alaska winter.Price is fair/goodThanksMy cannabis plants have never been happier. You virtually cannot over water with these things.Exactly as advertised. I planted my entire garden in 40 bags ranging from 7 to 15 gallons. Plants grow well in these bags. I have moved full 15 gallon bags with no problems or damage to the handles or bags. I believe they will weather our winter well (Winnipeg, Canada) and I will use them again next year. A very good product in my opinion. As you know, the price of almost everything keeps on changing on Amazon, if you bought this product at right price, it is definitely a value for money.I bought 10 X 7 gallon bags for $36.99 (no import fees). At the time of writing this review, price of this product is $59.58. Anything less than $40 is a good price in my opinion. Why I like grow bags-1) It is a versatile choice. You can move it around using handles without fear of braking anything and it is not very heavy.2) It is a great choice for potatoes because you do not have to dig. Just empty the bags and get your potatoes. Reuse the soil next year.3) Air circulation is great in these bags4) You can never accidentally overwater in these bags5) Compared to garden beds, it is easier to quarantine and treat insect/disease affected plants6) It is a cheaper option and you can use it multiple timesWhat I don't like-1) Good air circulation is the reason why a grow bag would struggle with under watering. if you are in an area with long and hot summers, watch out!2) I am not sure what kind of chemicals are used to dye these bags black. Also, I am not sure if the material used in these bags do not have harmful chemicals that might leech into the soil and ultimately end up in food I grow. The product page shows that bags are BPA and AZO free. However, tests are from a Chinese lab. I would prefer bags to be tested in a North American trustworthy lab.In nutshell, it is a good option. if I have space and money to build a raised garden bed, I would go with it due to potential health issue the chemical may bring. I have large raised bed area and it is my primary vegetable garden. I use limited quantity of the bags for my patio, to have easier access. This is my second order of these pots. Each pot is the perfect size (5 gallon) for a tomato plant, a cucumber, a zuchini, or squash plant or multiples of kale, chard, lettuce, herbs. Some were left outside all winter, while others were emptied and folded for compact storage. All are fine for use a second year so far. Easy to move with strong handles. Good drainage and air for healthy roots and plants. I can easily relocate plants that require more or less sun during the season. They look neat and clean in the garden. Very pleased. This was supposed to be a package of 10 but I only got 5. I didn't realize until I already used 2 of them, so of course they were unreasonable. They were in a vacuum sealed package so I didn't realize right away. My own fault that, but still half of what I paid for. They are relatively sturdy however once full I wouldn't trust the fabric to hold if you tried to move them
