As my grandmother used to say ... "you could do worse!". These are a small black bags. Yes, I knew they were small when I ordered them. I like the size and shape of these bags and and use them to pick up disposable food dishes from the back yard and woods. I have wild animals who are more like pets ... raccoons, possums, and foxes. Unfortunately, my crows fly off with their dishes ... but none of my neighbors complain. They actually like seeing the animals.So, these bags do serve the purpose for which they were purchased.However ... What I don't like about them is they have a tongue shaped extension in the middle of the bag. See picture above. This tongue should have been discarded by the manufacturer because when you open the bag it separates and falls to the floor. So you end up with an extra step. You have to remove the tongue and discard it before you open the bag.This may not seem like a big issue, but I now have arthritis in my hands ... and elsewhere. Due to the pain it is hard to open plastic bags. So I don't like this extra step. If I don't pay attention I end up having to pick these things up off the floor.For this reason I will not purchase more of these bags.
